Prepare for the 11+ with confidence.
elevn+ helps children prepare for grammar school and independent school entrance exams through realistic, AI-generated practice questions — matched to the exact style of your chosen exam board.
What is the 11+?
The 11+ is an entrance examination used by grammar schools and some independent schools to identify academically able pupils. Several different exam boards set these assessments, and depending on which one is used, the assessment may test English, Mathematics, Verbal Reasoning, Non-Verbal Reasoning, creative writing or other cognitive skills.
Not every exam board tests in the same way, so preparing using the correct style of questions is important — a child sitting a GL Assessment paper benefits from very different practice to one sitting a CSSE or bespoke grammar school assessment.

GL Assessment
Multiple-choice papers covering English, Maths and both types of reasoning — the standard format for most UK grammar schools.
CEM
Places more weight on wide vocabulary, working quickly, and reasoning under pressure than a standard GL paper.
CSSE
Written-answer papers in English, Maths and Creative Writing — no multiple choice.
ISEB
Either the adaptive Common Pre-Test or the more curriculum-based Common Entrance, depending on the school.
Grammar School Assessments
Some grammar schools set their own bespoke exams — including regional and school-designed papers — rather than using GL, CEM or CSSE.
Spatial Awareness
SupplementarySupplementary practice for the spatial reasoning skills that show up across many non-verbal reasoning papers.
Problem Solving
SupplementarySupplementary practice that builds the independent, multi-step reasoning skills that many exam boards reward.
Some independent schools also use CAT4
CAT4 (Cognitive Abilities Test) measures verbal reasoning, quantitative reasoning, non-verbal reasoning, spatial reasoning as part of some independent school admissions processes. Used by some independent schools to measure reasoning potential rather than curriculum knowledge.
